A multi-stitch 17th Century band sampler worked on 45 count "Ivory" Florence Italian Linen using silk threads, specialty threads, spangles, and beads.

The stitches used include Buttonhole Bars, Four Sided Stitch, Faggot Stitch, Satin Stitch, Reversible Cross Stitch, Double Running Stitch, Algerian Eye, Eyelet, Lacis, & Double Sided Italian Cross Stitch. The approximate size is 5 1/4 by 19 inches.

This design is recommended for intermediate to advanced stitchers.

Since I hand dyed my linen, consider using Lakeside Linens "Pearled Barley" or "Light Examplar Linens." I recommend using the Soie D' Alger silks.
